Far from taking a break during half-term, our eager Sports Leaders have been busy undertaking leadership courses as they look to develop their skills.
It’s been a half-term filled with sporting success for Chesterfield’s schools since Christmas. With lots of district competitions, we’ve put forward many Primary and Secondary teams for numerous county finals. Many of these take place in the coming months and our representatives will be looking to follow in the footsteps of Brookfield Community School’s U16 badminton teams. Continue reading

Springwell Community College made it back-to-back North Derbyshire Key Stage 3 & 4 Indoor Rowing victories, following a stream of excellent performances this afternoon. Earlier in the day, a fantastic Ashgate Croft team took the Indoor Rowing Plus crown.
